With more than two decades of experience in the world’s most extreme environments, I am a high-altitude and polar Mountain Guide specializing in leading complex expeditions with precision, safety, and a deep respect for the environment.

My connection to the mountains began through adventure. At the age of 19, I completed my first 1,000 km bicycle journey, a formative experience that led me deep into the Argentine Patagonia, where I also undertook extended trekking expeditions. That early journey shaped the path that would become my professional life.

My career on Aconcagua spans over 20 seasons, including 6 years as a high-altitude porter and 14 years as a lead guide. Over time, I have successfully summited Aconcagua more than 25 times, developing a deep understanding of expedition logistics, high-altitude performance, and team leadership.

Beyond guided expeditions, I have pursued independent and technical objectives in the Andes, including single-day ascents of peaks over 6,400 meters in Bolivia, as well as self-supported cycling journeys to some of the highest mountains in the Andes, where I carried out solo technical ascents. These experiences reflect a strong capacity for endurance, autonomy, and decision-making in demanding environments.

As a Senior Guide in Antarctica, I have successfully led expeditions to Mount Vinson, the highest peak on the continent, as well as demanding ski expeditions to the South Pole. These experiences demonstrate my ability to operate and lead in some of the most remote, cold, and technically challenging environments on Earth.

I am certified by EPGAMT as a Mountain Guide Technician, with advanced training in glacier travel, crevasse rescue, ice climbing, and additional qualifications in Wilderness First Response, vertical rope access, and vertical rescue. My guiding philosophy is built on disciplined risk management, strong leadership, and delivering meaningful, high-quality experiences in the mountains.

Fluent in English and Italian, and a native Spanish speaker, I work seamlessly with international teams and private clients. Whether in the Andes or the polar regions, I am committed to guiding with professionalism, integrity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
